All of us are thirsty for freedom.
Human beings have left in search of freedom since birth.
As we left mother’s womb, then parents’ fence, for the bigger world,
many left even our Creator to find freedom.

When they recognize that freedom is not found in the world
and know they are still thirsty,
they are aware they do not understand what freedom is.
They turn their eyes to self: what am I thirsty for?

They ask, while living as religious slaves,
“We have never been slaves of anyone.
Why are we thirsty for freedom?” (1)
They are not aware of the deep prison in their selves.

While the prison is swallowing true peace and the joy of freedom,
their journey for freedom becomes more and more tired.
They finally become slaves of self, imprisoned by primitive desires.
They close their senses to freedom and turn off the light in their souls.

“The truth will set you free.” (2)
If you are with the living Jesus, you will know the truth. (3)
If you want to get the truth, you must deny yourself. (4)
Leave your old self and find your new self in the living Jesus, the truth for you. (5)

Your freedom grows in your deep heart—your new self—
breathing, eating and drinking the truth.
