If you love me, you will obey my teaching
And the one who sent me will love you.
And we will come into you and make our home with you
If you receive us into your heart.(1)

And I knock, you may open the door to me.
And I will eat with you, you will eat with me,
If you receive me and I make my home with you.(2)
If you believe that God is love,
And you stay in love, you abide in God.
And God lives in you and you are in Him
If you confess that Jesus is the Son of God.(3)
If you believe in Jesus, you may love Him,
And you may be happy keeping His words.
And you may live in Him and He in you
If you love Him with all your heart, soul and mind.(4)
